USNS Safeguard's 4th visit to Sunny SihanoukVille, Cambodia.
Welcome Back! As part of the 2011 CARAT (Cooperation Afloat and Readiness Training ) excercises with the Cambodian Navy, the Safeguard has returned to SihanoukVille for 2 weeks. In cooperation with the USS Kidd, the Cambodian and American Navies are conducting a series of at-sea drills.
Also, the two American ships are supporting a wide variety of community services around town and around the country.
And the Safeguard has helped out at the SihanoukVille Port with underwater inspections and repairs.
